SALE-A-BRATION 2010 begins

Sale-a-bration (or SAB) is a fantastic time of year. It is a time that everyone is rewarded - from customers, to hostesses and even new recruits! SAB goes from January 25th through to March 31st. Everyone has a reason to celebrate.

Customers: Receive a free Sale-A-Bration product for every $100 purchase (no limit!).
Hostesses: Receive a free Sale-A-Bration product with a $600 or more workshop, in addition to the regular hostess benefits.
Recruits: Choose any retail stamp set (a value up to $79.95) from the current catalogue when signing up during the promotion. New demonstrators must write the name of the set they choose on the top of the Starter Kit order form, or they will receive the default set (Defining Alphabet; item 112344).

It was during SAB last year that I signed up as a demo in order to receive the extra stamp set on offer. But even if that is not your thinking, taking advantaged of the customer and hostess incentives is good enough to make a purchase!

Click HERE to go straight to the SAB catalogue and see what you can get. The hostess freebie (earned at $600 sales) is in ADDITION to the normal hostess benefits that are stipulated in the IB&C. How can you loose?

AND remember, that during January and February, any hostess that books a workshop with me gets a free stamp pad and for any workshop that totals $400 or more (before postage) you get another free stamp pad!

So, to recap. During February, hostesses can earn:
  • a free stamp pad for hosting a workshop
  • a free stamp pad for any workshop that totals $400 or more (conditions apply)
  • a free SAB stamp set for any workshop that totals $600 or more
  • normal hostess benefits when your workshop totals $300 or more
There really hasn't been a better time to host a workshop than February! But hurry to book your dates as my diary is filling up fast.

Any potential demonstrators are encouraged to sign up during SAB. Give me a call or drop me an email to discuss the benefits of you joining the SU! family.

Some reminders

2010 is picking up a bit of speed don't you think? A quick look at my calander tells me that we only have 1 more week and then the kids go back to daycare and Tom starts kindy and swimming also starts.....the juggling act begins!

The passing of January also means that I need to remind you all that the inventory clearance sale is still on but ends on the 24th. So if you want to nab yourself some cheap stamps, get in quick. As mentioned in the previous post, some of the stamps are already sold out.

As mentioned in my newsletter sent earlier in the month, I am offering an incentive to any hostesses that book an in home workshop with me during the months of January and February. There is a stamp pad of your colour choice FREE with any workshop booking (will be added to your workshop order) and if your workshop total reaches $400 (prior to postage) then you will get another stamp pad of your colour choice FREE! I am able to work in with most times that you may suggest, so give me a call or email to book your workshop. And don't forget, the usual hostess benefits are also available too! This offer also extends to anyone that wants to host a "catalogue party" (where you gather orders from friends/family without actually hosting an event).

And a final reminder is about the new website that I have. It is more of a corporate website, but it contains some information and excamples that are not contained in this blog. To check it out go to http://www.samsimpson.stampinup.net/ and have a browse. And come back regularly to see what new things get added.

Well after a bit of a slow start in getting my January class up and going, I am happy to report that the class is now full and ready to go. This is my first all day class - so reminders to those booked in to bring your lunch - and I am a bit excited about it. I have had about 4 ladies contact me saying that they will be away that particular weekend and really wanted to do the class. However, keep in mind that I run classes every month (usually the second last Saturday of the month) so keep an eye on my blog, newsletter and website for all the details. As the classes are becoming popular, I suggest that you book in as soon as the class is announced to avoid missing out.

Ok, that's about it from me. I have a bit of a stamping announcement which I will make early next week, so check back for that one.

Don't forget that if you want to come along to the all day class on the 23rd January, you need to let me know by tomorrow so that I have enough time to order in supplies and have them here ready and waiting for you!

It will be a really good day, and you will come away with a fistful of cards ready to start giving! All you need to bring is your money ($30/hd) and your lunch. I'll supply everything else.

Inventory sale ending soon

Don't forget to to place any orders you want for the inventory sale. This is a fantastic opportunity to get your hands on some fantastic stamps at hugely reduced prices. The sale ends on January 24th, but I would advise you not to leave it to the last minute, because stock is starting to run out. After the 24th, you will still be able to buy the stamps, but at normal prices.

I placed my order yesterday, and I missed out on a stamp I wanted. Don't let this happen to you.

So far, the stamps that are sold out at the discount price are:
*Jumbo Outline Alphabet stamp set
*Just Riding stamp set

Sweet Treats

These nifty little containers are in the Summer Mini Catalogue and are perfect for a range of occasions. I have used this one for a birthday card (for my cousin), but they could be used for just about anyone and for anything. The little container self seals, so you can make your card so that the contents can be removed (as in my card, which were Jaffas and caschous) or are permanent (using something inside the container such as glitter or sand etc).

You can see that I have made my card with a 'slider' so the lollies can be removed without destroying the card, and I have also placed a second image behind the plastic cup, so that when the lollies are gone, the slider can be discarded, but the image of the coloured lolly balls with show through.

There is a full range of complimentary products for this range in the summer mini. The stamp set "Something Sweet" (p9) gives you 14 stamps for the low price of $44.95. These stamps can be used in conjunction with the Sweet Treat cups (p 8; 12 to a pack) or as seperate stamps themselves. The punch on p8 is the exact size needed to punch the hole ready for the sweet treat cup. And for those that would wish to post their creations to someone special, there are also packs of padded bags for purchase on p8.

Contact me to place you order for these fantastic little gems. Remember, once the mini catty is gone, you won't be able to get these again.

Materials used:
  • Something Sweet stamp set (summer mini)
