Novelty Card class

Novelty cards are fun to make, fun to give and fun to receive. Whilst they look intricate, they are in fact quite simple to create. Instead of giving a standard card, why not give something different? Come along and learn three different types of novelty cards which will suit male and females, children and adults alike.

When: Saturday July 17th, 2010

Time: 1pm

Where: old convent complex, 1 Fireman St, COLAC

Cost: $20/head (includes everything you need to create cards plus light refreshments)

RSVP: by July 14th. As my classes are now filling up fast, I suggest that you book ASAP. Numbers are limited and bookings are essential so that I have product kits for everyone.

Tote Bag and Love Notes

I thought I would load on here some pics of the tote bags that we made at the last class. Everyone was very happy with their little bags and some of the ladies have already made more at home!
The tote bags made in either Autumn Traditions DSP or Cottage Garden DSP

The tote bag open with the little pockets for the love notes inside

This is just one of the projects that we make at my classes. Next month, we are making Novelty Cards which I will load a pic of soon! If you are interested in coming along, please get in touch with me soon, as my classes are filling up quickly!

New page on blog

I have just added another page on this blog. It discusses the clubs and groups that I have organised. I have announced openings for another stamp club and have also started to take names of those that would be interested in being part of a techniques group.

Click HERE to read more, or get in touch with me to discuss whether either (or both) of these offers maybe for you!

Upcoming July class

A few ladies have been inquiring about the July class. I can tell you that it will be NOVELTY CARDS.

Novelty cards is the term I use for cards that have a fun element to them. They are more than a standard layered card, generally having some movement, fancy folds or surprise element.

In the July class, you will make 3 cards, all of which will delight any recipient! I will post pictures on this blog and in my monthly newsletter in the next couple of days so you can see what types of cards you will be making.

Class will be in July 18th at 1pm at the convent complex in Colac. Cost will be $20/hd.

As June's class was fully subscribed in under a week, I suggest that you book in ASAP to avoid missing out on this one.

Retiring colours

After visiting another demos blogsite (hi Marelle!), I have been prompted to remind you all about the retiring colour list. We have been informed by SU! that some of the retiring colours are selling out and when they do, they won't be restocked. At the moment, this seems to be limited to reinkers, but rest assured, the ink pads will also run out too at some stage.

So, if you desperately want to get your hands on some of the colours that aren't going to be here post August 31st, I would suggest that you start thinking of putting in an order SOON. If your wish list is bigger than your wallet can afford, what about thinking of hosting a workshop? If the total of the sales comes to more than $300, you can use your free product benefit to get the inks in the colours you want, thus reducing your overall outlay of money!!

I will be running workshops again after June 27th, so please get in touch with me to book a date.

Pregnancy pics

This post has nothing to do with card making. A few people have been interested to see what I look like at the moment.....hugely pregnant and all. So here is a picture taken yesterday just before I took the kids swimming. I don't think I look all that great in my togs, but you get the overall impression of my dimensions!

39 weeks 4 days

Actually, I mentioned on our farm blog (www.craiglands.blogspot.com if you are so inclined to have a look at that one!), that I think I was standing a bit strangely because I look huge in this photo, but in reality, I am not much bigger today than what I was 3 weeks ago. In fact, I haven't put on any measurements at all in recent weeks. Baby is active enough though.

Join SU! for less

SU! have released a fantastic offer for those that are considering joining the SU! family. Until July 31st, for just $259 you will receive the Starter Kit (normally $324), valued at more than $560! This is fantastic value. And unlike some direct sales companies, once you purchase your starter kit, it is yours....no paying it back, no minimum workshops you need to host. And if, down the track, you decide to leave, then you still keep your kit.

Plus, did you know that you can now join SU! online? All you need to do is go to my Demonstrator Website and click on 'Start you own Business/Join Now' and follow the steps to sign up.

You will need the following information to complete the online registration:
  • ABN (click HERE to get your ABN online for FREE)
  • Personal contact information
  • Credit card information
  • Recruiter Authorisation password (mine is graceful)
and very soon you will be ready to go! Should take about 30 minutes.

(click on the image to see a bigger version. Click on your browser back button to return to blog)

You should also know that you do not have to live near me to sign up as one of my team members. Many SU! teams are made up of ladies that are located throughout Australia and with the convenience of emails, websites, online forums and telephones, it is super easy to keep in touch.
