Winding back

Today I held my last class until after the baby is born.  So there will be NO CLASS in May.  The next class will run on the 3rd Saturday in June (16th).  Keep an eye on this blog and my newsletter for details about that one.  I am also not going to be holding any workshops, private classes or group work throughout May, BUT I am available to take orders over the phone or email and submit them for you.  Direct deposits or payments with credit cards would be preferable over this time period, however, feel free to contact me to work out a time that we can catch up if you need to get cash to me.

Rest assured, I will be continuing to post on here throughout May, and in fact, there has been a run of friend's having babies of late so I will be posting some of my baby card creations for you all in the next few weeks.

Don't forget about my product shares that I have on offer (see link at top of this blog).  The product shares and the product bundle offers only run for the month of April....after this, you will have to buy full packs of product to see them for yourself.  I have had a great response to the product shares and delivered my first lot today to the delight of the ladies.  Contact me if you have any questions.

Multi Fold album

Last year, I ran a couple of classes - both normal and private - where we made the Triple Flip Album (you can see the post HERE).

Recently, I have had a couple of people ask me about this class and if I will be running it again.  At this stage, I won't be running it as a scheduled class, but I can offer it as a private class.

Due to the increased cost of some of the other items since I first ran this class, the cost will have to change.  As such, I am offering 3 different price structures:

  1. based on 4 participants (this is the minimum number) - $53 per person
  2. based on 6 participants - $48 per person
  3. based on 8 participants (this is the maximum number) - $46 per person

Please note that this price structure is only for Colac and surrounds.  If I am required to travel to Geelong or Warrnambool, there will be added cost for time and travel.  Please contact me to discuss.

For the cost you will receive:

  • all product required to complete the project (scrappin kit, extra cardstock, ribbon, adhesive etc)
  • full set of colour step by step instructions
  • my assistance
  • class will last approximately 4 - 4.5 hours (you should factor in a lunch break)
*also note, each participant will be required to use the same Simply Scrappin kits, however, the group may decide which one they choose.

Virtual workshops

Just a reminder to all my customers - particularly those that don't live near me - that you are able to take advantage of hostess benefits WITHOUT having to host a real life workshop.  You can host a "virtual" workshop instead!

As a virtual hostess, you will receive:

  • a IB&C (worth $12.95 + p/h)
  • a mini catty (current Autumn Winter 2012)
  • a stamping techniques booklet
  • order forms
  • 2 card samples with explanations
  • 1 card or scrapbook sketch

All you need to do is to show your catalogues and card samples around, gather orders from friends and family and submit the orders and payments to me.  Easy!

And what can you get for doing this?  Well, the same benefits as any other hostess.  If your "workshop" order makes a minimum $300 in sales, you will start earning hostess dollars that can be spent on ANYTHING in the catalogue (not just the hostess only products).  You will also be eligible for my Loyalty Rewards program, accruing at least 1 point for hosting a workshop.

Even though I am not running any workshops or classes during May (because of baby arrival), I will be running these virtual workshops, so please contact me to become involved or to find out more information.

Missed out on some Summer mini products?

Ok, we always tell our customers that if they want to buy anything out of the mini cattys, then to do so BEFORE they end, because once the catty ends, the stuff is generally gone FOREVER.

However, occasionally, there is enough product left in Australia to warrant SU! offering a carry over period.  So if you missed out on something in the Summer Mini that you really wanted, check out the flyer HERE and see if you can still get your desired item.

Happy Easter!

I hope you are all having a wonderful Easter Sunday.  My kids have been visited by the Easter Bunny and have done their egg hunt in the backyard.  They have gone crazy on a sugar high and have hit a sugar low I suspect, because they are all very quiet!

I took advantage of the quietness to make these 3 Easter Bunny Bags for my niece and nephews.  These bunny faces are all over the internet, so I suggest you just have a cruise around to get the measurements.  But if you'd like, I can send you what I did.  I just used the Top Note die for the head and a range of circle and oval punches for the face and ears.

Product Bundles and Product Shares on offer

With the launch of the new Autumn Winter Mini catalogue, it is time to offer Product Shares and Product Bundles again.

For those that are unsure what these are, let me quickly put you in the picture:
Product Shares are where you are able to buy a selection of a number of new products rather than having to buy full packets.  So if you want to know what a particular product looks like in real life before you commit to buying a full pack, or you may know that you won't use a full pack of something but would love to get you hands on a sample, then this is a great idea for you.  The shares are based on 4 shares each (ie, the packets are split between 4 people), so as soon as I have 4 shares taken, I will order the stuff, break it up and send it out to you.  You can buy 1, 2 or more shares if you want.  See details and prices below.
Product Bundles are where I have created a bundle of products, each containing a stamp set (your choice of clear or wood mount) and like the shares, the bundle contains a sample of a range of products designed to compliment the stamp set.

PRODUCT SHARES (all based on 4 shares)
Designer Series Paper Pack:
Get your hands on a selection of Twitterpated, Attic Boutique and Sweet Shop DSPs.  You will receive 12  6x6 pages of each of the papers in each range (total 36 pages) for the low cost of $18 including postage.

Ribbon Pack:
These ribbons are to die for.....the Pleated Satin Ribbons are going to prove a favourite of many for the life of this catalogue.  Get a sample of each of the 4 colours (>1m each) plus a sample of the Pool Party seam binding (>2m) for just $20 including postage

Buttons and Brads pack:
Add some extra dimension and interest to your cards and scrapbook pages with these delightful buttons and brads.  Get 12 of the Twitterpated buttons (a selection of the 2 colours and 4 designs) and 8 of the Jelly Bean brads for just $10 including postage.

WANT THE LOT?
OK, so you can't decide?  How about taking a share in each of the above product shares?  You can get you hands on the DSP, the ribbons and the Buttons & Brads for just $43 including postage, saving you $5 on the total.  Simply contact me and let me know you want "The Lot Shares" (this combined pack is only available if ordered as "The Lot".  Individual packs purchased in separate transactions cannot be retrospectively priced).

Autumn Winter Catalogue is HERE!

The waiting is over.  The Autumn Winter mini catalogue is now available and able to be ordered from.  Many of my regulars have already got their hands on their very own copy.  If you would also like a copy, please email me with your postal details and I will make sure that I get one out to you ASAP (please note, I am away until Thursday.  If you have already contacted me about a catty, I do have your details and you should have your catty very soon).

If you cannot wait however, you can download your online version by going HERE or visiting the SU website.

So what are the exciting NEW items.  Well.....nearly the entire catty is full of fantastic products, but 3 that I will highlight today are the Simply Scored tool and the Framelits and Edgelits.

Recently at a number of workshops, I showcased paper rosettes and boxes.  With a scoring tool like Simply Scored, these projects are made VERY easily.  Your time is not only reduced in making the projects, but your accuracy and finish will be second to none.

Prior to SU introducing Simply Scored, we had to rely on accessing other branded scoring tools, and these came at a variety of prices depending on where you accessed them.  The Simply Scored is available for the low price of $55.95 and comes with the usual SU guarantee of quality and backup service.  You can also buy a metric plate, additional scoring tools and scoring guides to help you in your crafting.

Framelits and Edgelits are 2 additional products that will extend your Big Shot arsenal.  I have already showcased the Framelits in a sneak peek.  However, here is another card that I created....by copying one of the cards on the front of the mini catty!!

You can not only see the decorative edge that is cut by the Edgelit, but also the edging Embossing Folder that is also available in the mini catty.  These match each other and are sold seperately.
These items add a completely different dimension to your cards and for their low prices, are something that you should consider adding to your next order!
