Using up your scraps

Yesterday I posted a picture of 2 cards that used square scraps of the Sweet Shop DSP (in mini catty).  Today's picture shows another card using a novel way.
This particular technique is called "Bargello" and it is from needlework where long stitches are made into various patterns.  In papercrafting, this is easily replicated by simply finding a suitable patterned paper (one with stripes) and then cutting it into small strips across the striped pattern.  You then simply lay the strips down on a piece of cardstock in a new pattern of your choosing.  You can see, I have tried to create a sort of wave pattern.

This really took me very little time and it is very effective.  I used the Well Worn DSP (IBC p129) which lends itself to creating effective masculine cards.

Give this technique a go yourself.  It is a great way to use up small bits of DSP that you have lying around!
