Some new changes at SU!

Well....I go away and lo and behold, there are some BIG changes happening at Stampin' Up!

The two big things that have been released are:

I am very excited about MDS (or My Digital Studio) arriving in Australia.  We have been waiting for it for a while since it has been in the US for some years now and there is just so much that you can do.  You have already seen a bit of a 'taster' of it in the SAB catty with 2 digital content discs on offer and there are a few product suite discs in the main catalogue as well.  However, up till now, you have needed to be reasonably confident with photoshop or another graphics program to make the work as they were content only.  But with the release of MDS, everyone can now make use of the digi content discs.  This is becuase MDS is the program by which to run the content.

SU is yet to secure a printer to directly print your finished items, but you can always use SnapFish or your own preferred printing place for the meantime.

Online ordering is going to be a bit of a boon for some of you.  Especially those of you that like to place your own order frequently, or that shop at odd hours of the day or night.  You will pay NO MORE by ordering online if you use ME as your demonstrator.  If you don't allocate a demo, then you will pay a premium price for your products.  So put me down as your demo!!!

You can access my online store by clicking HERE or going to my Stampin Up website and clicking on the "Shop Now" box in the lower left hand area of the first screen.

You can check out the MDS by clicking HERE (this is also the online store part too).

Because I have limited internet connection, I am still catching up on the fine print myself, but please email me with any questions or queries you might have an I should be able to get back to you within 24 hours.

Guest Designer

As mentioned in my newsletter, I am introducing the role of Guest Designer to my blog this year.  There are some wonderfully talented crafters out there and I would like to draw attention to some of them.

First cab off the rank is Michelle Caspar.  Michelle lives in Colac, Victoria with her husband Matt and 2 kids Ashleigh and Dylan.  Michelle is a customer and friend of mine and is quite simply, an inventive cardmaker.  Michelle loves to make cards with a little extra something and she shares my love of all things "bling"!

This card that Michelle has made was actually the card she gave me for my birthday last week. It is a typical Michelle card...and wowed everyone who saw it.

Michelle used the More Amour Speciality DSP, Pool Party cardstock and seam binding, Hearts a Flutter stamp set and matching framelit, the Hearts Collection framelits and Raspberry Ripple ink.  To suspend the hearts in the middle Michelle used some bakers twine.

Thanks Michelle for being the very first GD on this blog.

Keep an eye on the blog next month to see who the next GD will be.

It's a girl!!

No......not really a baby girl, but a new addition nonetheless!

I take this opportunity to welcome into the Stampin' Up! world, Ms Terri Hawke.  Terri has been a customer of mine for a few years now and has recently moved from Victoria (and near me) to Canberra with her family.  Terri's hubby is in the Army, so she has to sort of go where she is told!
Quite an apt pic I thought...knowing how cold it can get in Canberra.  Brrrrrrr....
Not wanting to loose her contacts and friends, and to also expand her business horizons, Terri approached me about joining my team and the wider SU! family a few months back.  She has now taken the plunge and joins my team of merry crafters.

Terri joins Sharon who has just knocked up her first anniversary with SU! and me and is going from strength to strength.  If you would like to discuss the opportunities of becoming a SU! demonstrator and find out what is is REALLY like, give me a call or shoot me an email.  I would be more than happy to give you a full and honest appraisal.
